Important Information – No Car Access or Car Parking

There is no car parking in or around the School site, and school drop-off or pick-up by car is not permitted in the vicinity of the School.
Parking controls are in place around the School and throughout the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham (LBHF), and the neighbouring borough Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) with enforcement actively managed by both the School and LBHF / RBKC in line with our School Travel Plan.

For these reasons, please avoid driving to the School and instead use one of the alternative transport modes listed below to ensure a safe and sustainable journey for everyone.

Cycle Parking

Secure Cycle Parking

The School provides secure cycle parking spaces for students and staff. To use these facilities, please contact reception@wetherbypembridge.co.uk  to book a space in advance.

On-Street Cycle Parking

If the School’s secure cycle parking is full, there are multiple on-street cycle parking hoops available nearby for your convenience.  The on-street cycle parking can be used by visitors as well.

You can find further information and locations of public cycle stands via the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham Cycle Parking Map

Dockless Cycle

Lime and Forest operate dockless cycle hire schemes in partnership with LBHF, providing a convenient and sustainable way to travel.

However, to ensure safety and maintain clear access for pedestrians and local residents, please do not park dockless bikes near the School entrances, as they may cause an obstruction.

Instead, use the designated dockless bike parking bays provided by LBHF in nearby streets.

You can check approved parking locations through the Lime or Forest apps before ending your ride.

Walking

Walking to school is one of the healthiest and most sustainable ways to travel. Wetherby Pembridge is located within a well-connected, pedestrian-friendly area, with safe and accessible walking routes from all directions.

Key information:

  • The surrounding streets have well-maintained pavements and pedestrian crossings, ensuring a safe journey for students and families.
  • Walking helps to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality around the School.
  • It also supports physical activity and wellbeing, helping students arrive at school alert and ready to learn.
  • Families are encouraged to plan their walking route in advance using Google Maps or the TfL Go app, which both show step-free paths and crossing points.

If you live further away, consider a “park and stride” approach — parking or alighting from public transport a short distance from the School and walking the final part of the journey.

Taxi Drop-Off

There is no official taxi drop-off point close to Wetherby Pembridge.

To ensure safety and minimise congestion around the school site, we ask that taxis do not stop or wait on nearby residential streets.
If you must use a taxi on the odd occasion, please plan to alight at a safe distance from the School and complete the final part of the journey on foot.

This helps to maintain clear access for pedestrians and local residents, in line with our School Travel Plan.
