How to Apply

The window for regular applications closed on Thursday 30th October. We are, however, always happy to consider applications for occasional places and will always seek to accommodate students who would thrive in our school, if sufficient places are available.

Assessment & Interview

Entry to Wetherby Pembridge is by competitive examination. An initial, online assessment involves Maths, English, creative comprehension, problem solving, and verbal and non-verbal reasoning. This is usually taken under supervision in applicants’ own schools. Where it is not possible for schools to offer this, Wetherby Pembridge will offer a number of hosted assessment sessions. Please advise the Admissions Team, if you think you are likely to require this service. All applicants from Inspired schools will be able to sit the assessment in their own school. Assessments will take place between 10 and 15 November 2025. To help families familiarise themselves with what this contains, we have produced this: https://www.questassessments.com/parent-guidance

Candidates who successfully pass the initial assessment will be invited to attend an in-person interview and further, short written assessments in English and Maths. These will take place on Saturday 17 & Saturday 24 January 2026. 

Offer

Offers will be made to successful applicants on Thursday 12 February 2026. The deadline to accept offers will be Friday 6 March 2026 - 12 noon.

An exclusive offer holder event will be held in late February 2026 for successful applicants with an offer of a place, enabling prospective students to immerse in the Wetherby Pembridge environment, explore our innovative and exciting facilities, and meet the teachers as well as fellow students and families.
